Current State’s Melissa Benmark talks to Daniel Goldmark, who directs the Center for Popular Music Studies at Case Western Reserve University, about some of the differences between “serious” film music and what’s used for cartoons. Goldmark will be speaking to students at the MSU College of Music this week.
