Current State brings you a preview of the Lansing Symphony Orchestra's upcoming concert, which features an all American cast of composers.
The Lansing Symphony Orchestra’s next Masterworks concert is this weekend at Wharton Center. The concert features an all-American composers program with several Michigan connections, including a saxophone quartet with roots at Michigan State University.

Current State's Melissa Benmark talks to Conductor Timothy Muffitt about the concert and why he put this particular set of pieces together on the program.

WKAR’s Jody Knol will be hosting the PreView Conversation before the concert at 7:15pm in the Jackson National Lounge.  His guest will be James Forger, Dean of the Michigan State University College of Music and one of the saxophone soloists on the program.
