Lights 'Under The Bridge' Officially Up

There was a lot of anticipation Tuesday night as the community gathered to watch the official lighting of the lights 'under the bridge' - the corridor of Michigan Avenue beneath the U.S. 127 overpass on the Lansing/East Lansing border.

The crowd was visible to show their support for this project.

Lansing Mayor Virg Bernero says this project is about more than just lights. The lights, which cycle through a dozen of color variations, can be altered to match various occasions throughout the year.

Each color will represent an occasion like Christmas, 4th of July and many more.
