Lansing Mayor Virg Bernero has issued an executive order allowing medical marijuana provisioning centers in the city to continue operating as long as they apply for a city license by Friday.

According to the ordinance, provisioning centers that fail to apply for licenses or receive a rejection will be required to close by December 22.

The executive order mirrors the provisions of Emergency Rules issued last week by the Bureau of Medical Marijuana Regulation.
