Former Michigan State University doctor Larry Nassar has been moved to a federal prison in Florida, his third placement since beginning his federal sentence on child pornography charges.

As of Tuesday afternoon, the Federal Prison Inmate locator listed Nassar at USP II Coleman unit in Sumterville, Florida.

Last spring, Nassar began serving a 60-year federal sentence for possessing child pornography and criminal sexual misconduct at a federal prison in Tucson, Arizona.

Earlier this month, he was moved to a facility in Oklahoma.

Nassar's attorneys said he was attacked by fellow inmates while in the facility in Tucson.

In addition to federal time, judges in Eaton and Ingham counties sentenced Nassar to 40 to 175 years in prison on criminal sexual conduct charges. The sentence came after days of victim-impact statements from hundreds of women and girls.

Nassar is 55-years-old. If he survives his federal sentence, he will then begin serving the Eaton and Ingham county sentences.
