Ingham County voters approved nearly every millage proposal on Tuesday’s ballot.
Voters said yes to two millages related to recreational quality of life.
The Potter Park Zoo will get a nearly $4 million boost in the first year of a six year millage.
The countywide system of trails and parks will also benefit from a six-year millage that will also raise close to $4 million in its first year.
The city of East Lansing will sell a parcel of land to the Michigan State University Federal Credit Union for a planned office building.
Health and education proposals passed as well.
The Ingham health services millage will fund basic care and mental health services to the uninsured at its original 1988 rate.
Voters signed off on a 20-year millage to fund special education.
The Capital Area Transportation Authority will see a five-year funding renewal.
The only measure that failed was in Williamston Township, where a proposed road improvements bond was narrowly defeated.
