The second debate in this year's race for the White House was last night in St. Louis, MO.

Current State talks with the women who make up the Two Chicks Speakers Bureau, Kathy Hoestra and Susan Demas, about the upcoming election.

In 29 days, America elects its next president, but lots more hangs in the balance. Here in Michigan, voters will determine 14 U.S. Representatives who’ll serve in the Congress and more than 100 members of the state House of Representatives, along with two positions on the state Supreme Court and six members of the Michigan Court of Appeals.

We've invited back two veteran Michigan journalists, one from each side of the political spectrum, to share their thought on some of the contests most important to mid-Michigan. Susan Demas is the editor and publisher of the Inside Michigan Politics newsletter, and Kathy Hoekstra, who writes for watchdog.org. Together, they comprise the Two Chicks Speakers Bureau.
