Austin Hatch; Michigan Men's Basketball; MSU Men's Basketball; Illinois; Senior Day; NBA All Star Game; Fergie National Anthem Apology

On today's "Current Sports with Al Martin" we begin the show by discussing the University of Michigan men's basketball team honoring Austin Hatch during Senior Day. Hatch is the survivor of two plane crashes, which killed his parents and multiple siblings. Al tips his cap to the Wolverines program for honoring such a strong young man. Then, Al highlights tonight's Michigan State men's basketball game against Illinois, in which it will be Senior Day for the Spartans. Al talks about what to expect from tonight's game and tells a story of his favorite player from the senior class, Lourawls "Tum Tum" Nairn Jr. We also give away a pair of tickets to tonight's game, which had many of our callers stumped.

That, and so much more, including an apology from singer Fergie due to botched rendition of the National Anthem at Sunday's NBA All Star Game.
