Pop-Up Story: ‘High School Sweethearts’

Amanda Pinckney / WKAR

One of our recent live storytelling events, “Pop-Up Stories,” took place at the Robin Theatre in REO Town in May. The theme was “The Birds and the Bees.”

Volunteer storytellers shared their true, first-person stories on that theme.

Today we hear Jay Wagar’s story about a high school sweetheart.

The theme of our most recent Pop-Up Stories event at the Robin Theater was "The Birds and the Bees."

We’ve got another Pop-Up Stories coming up soon.  Join us at Valley Court Park in East Lansing on Wednesday, July 29th for stories on the theme “The Call of the Wild." If you want to tell your own story, email us at currentstate@wkar.org. You can also stay up to date on all our upcoming events by liking our Facebook page at Pop Up Stories Lansing.
