Lansing's grassroots leaders taking matters into their own hands

Around the city of Lansing, grassroots volunteers are the lifeblood of neighborhood organizations trying to improve the quality of life.  

Current State talks to three recently installed Lansing neighborhood leaders Lisa Benck from the Westside Commercial Association, Paul Johns from the Moores Park Neighborhood Association, Joe Duris from Old Oakland Neighborhood Association about the challenges they face, including blight, safety and public services and why they got involved.
