Beginning in 2014, much of the federal Affordable Care Act (ACA) takes effect. The landmark law aims to ensure that U.S. citizens have access to quality and affordable health insurance.

Current State host Mark Bashore spoke with Rob Fowler, the president for the Lansing-based Small Business Association of Michigan, to talk about how small businesses in Michigan are responding to the ACA.  In the first of several such conversations here on Current State,  Bashore first asked Fowler what the most common response of Michigan small business people is to the ACA.
