By virtually all accounts, the roll out of the Affordable Care Act has been shaky at best. The website, healthcare.gov, was virtually unusable for October and into November. But lately, reports are showing that the website’s improved considerably and, correspondingly, the number of people signing up for the health care exchanges is growing.Current State spoke with Nancy Diawara, the lead navigator for the Ingham County Health Department, and Erin Knott, state director for Enroll America, a national non-profit working to help uninsured Americans take advantage of the new health care law.

Diwara says health insurance options available under the Affordable Care Act will be covered at a Saturday event at Kingdom Ministries on W. Miller Road in Lansing.
