Current State checks in with Detroit Free Press sports writer Joe Rexrode on the battle for the Paul Bunyan trophy, up for grabs when Michigan hosts Michigan State on the gridiron Saturday.

MSU and UM football both emerged victorious last Saturday, but headed in different directions in yesterday’s polls.
