The Mason and Okemos boys soccer programs met in September for the "Compete for a Cause" game at Okemos High School. Raising funds and awareness in the fight of childhood cancer was the goal for the event. It marked the first ever night-time soccer game for Okemos High School.

The sun sets on the "Compete for a Cause" game at Okemos High School. It was the first ever night-time soccer game in school history.

WKAR’s first live pledge drive since federal funding was eliminated is happening now. Our goal for the drive is $60,000 and reaching it will bring us one step closer to closing the federal funding gap.
