The ‘Cleveland Curse’ is broken: Cavs win NBA crown

LeBron James led the Cleveland Cavaliers to the NBA championship over the Golden State Warriors.

It's been a long time since the city of Cleveland has celebrated a pro sports championship. We talk with Current Sports host Al Martin about the Cleveland Cavaliers NBA championship.

It had been five decades since the City of Cleveland was granted the opportunity to celebrate a pro sports championship. It was 1964 when the Cleveland Browns defeated the Baltimore Colts to with the NFL championship anchored by the great Jim Brown. That all ended last night.

LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers stunned the NBA world by defeating the Golden State Warriors in a thrilling game seven last night, 93-89. The win put an end to the nightmare that is Cleveland Sports.

To put in perspective just how monumental this accomplishement is and to give us a preview of which MSU Spartans hope to hear their name called in the NBA draft later this week, we talk with Current Sports host Al Martin.
