Former Spartan Draymond Green was on hand for MSU coach Tom Izzo's induction to the Basketball Hall of Fame.

We talk with Current Sports host Al Martin about MSU basketball coach Tom Izzo's induction into the Basketball Hall of Fame and the Detroit Lions season opening victory over the Colts.

It looked like it was going to be a repeat song from last season's opener for the Detroit Lions yesterday. The Lions coughed up an 18 point first half lead against the Indianapolis Colts, just as they did last season in a loss to the San Diego Chargers. This time, the Lions were able to muster up some last minute heroics, stunning the Colts at Lucas Oil Stadium to win 39-35. It marked only the second time that the Lions have won in Indy.

What kind of tone does that set for the season?

We talk with the host of WKAR's Current Sports, Al Martin, about the Lions and also MSU basketball coach Tom Izzo receiving the game's highest honor over the weekend.
