Injuries may leave Lions short-handed vs. Browns

By AP

ALLEN PARK, MI – Detroit Lions coach Jim Schwartz isn't sure how many players his team will be missing Sunday against the Cleveland Browns.

Several Lions players were injured in a 27-10 loss to Minnesota, but he only had a definitive status on defensive back Jack Williams on Monday afternoon. Williams suffered a "significant" knee injury on the first play from scrimmage in the second half, and will be placed on injured reserve.

Schwartz seemed most concerned about right guard Stephen Peterman, who injured his ankle and was undergoing more tests on Monday. The Lions have struggled all season to find a starting left guard and don't have an obvious choice to replace Peterman.
