The Henry Ford’s ‘Magical History Tour’ is dying to take you away

Everybody loves The Beatles. This weekend, The Henry Ford opens an exhibit of Beatles memorabilia called"The Magical History Tour."

It was big news yesterday when it was announced that Paul McCartney has scheduled an August 15th concert in Grand Rapids. There’s little doubt that the Beatles are the most popular band in history. McCartney, John Lennon, George Harrison and Ringo Starr left an indelible mark on the world in the 1960’s, and fans can relive those glory days and their post-Beatles solo careers at a new exhibit opening Saturday at The Henry Ford in Dearborn.

Current State producer Scott Pohl visits the “Magical History Tour” with The Henry Ford’s Media Relations Manager Melissa Foster.

Scott Pohl is a general assignment news reporter and produces news features and interviews. He is also an alternate local host on NPR's "Morning Edition."
