We have a story today from Josh Lown, who appeared at our most recent Pop-Up Stories event in East Lansing. The theme was "The Call of the Wild."

It’s time for another Pop-Up Story! This one comes from our last event at Valley Court Park, where the theme was “The Call of the Wild.” Storyteller Josh Lown shared a story about a time he went on a trip to the Upper Peninsula that turned out better than expected.

Our next Pop-Up Stories event is a week from today, August 31st at 6 p.m. at Red Cedar Spirits in East Lansing. The theme is “The Heat is On.” There is limited space at this venue, so be sure to reserve a spot. You can find the link to reserve your spot on our Facebook event page.

We have room for more storytellers, so if you want to tell your own story about “The Heat is On,” just email currentstate@wkar.org and put Pop-Up Stories in the subject line. Hope to see you there.
