The Olympics, Claressa Shields, Jim Harbaugh Media Coverage, Karen Weaver, Weight of Olympic Gold, and Detroit Tigers.

On today's "Current Sports with Al Martin" it's a big day for all the sports fans in Michigan. Flint native Claressa Shields straps on the gloves and undertakes her quest for a boxing gold in the quarterfinals while Al and engineer Isaac Constans are on the air. They cover the event, and following the outcome of her fight, Flint Mayor Karen Weaver joins from a watch party for Shields. Before getting to all of that however, yesterday's news comes first. Starting off, Jim Harbaugh once again managed to steal the headlines to the annoyance of MSU fans. But was it a bad look? Then, Al and Isaac also use their internal scales to debate the value of Olympic gold compared to a domestic champion before getting to the boxing coverage. All of that and more!
