Sunny skies are ahead for MSU football, and yet, after finishing 9-3 with two huge upset wins, Mark Dantonio's team was anything but cheery after the slate of bowl games was announced on Sunday. Once again, it all comes down to the comparison game, with unranked rival Michigan getting a bid to the more prestigious Outback Bowl. While much Spartan Nation is upset, Dantonio played it classy. Engineer Isaac Constans looks forward to the Spartans' matchup with Washington State but says that the meaning behind the bowl invitation was unmistakably a "slight."
