Dr. Bryden Stanley performed reconstructive surgery on Baron, a dog whose nose had been cut off.

A dog that was badly disfigured and abandoned has a new nose, thanks to a team from Michigan State University’s College of Veterinary Medicine.

WKAR's Karel Vega speaks with one of the surgeons who performed the operation.

Karel Vega served as radio news managing editor at WKAR from 2020 to 2023.
