Documentary celebrates legacy of Lansing's Elderly Instruments

If you strum, pick or fiddle, chances are you've come across Lansing's Elderly Instruments.  Michigan's home to new, vintage and used guitars, mandolins, ukeleles -- stringed instruments of every type -- Elderly Instruments is a Mecca to musicians of all descriptions.
 
MSU's Bob Albers, himself a professional classical guitarist and College of Communication Arts and Sciences Senior Video Specialist, created the 2012 documentary "Elderly Instruments: All Things Strings."
 
It's a personal and playful look into the people behind the Elderly magic.The documentary was recently released on DVD.
 
WKAR's Peter Whorf speaks with Bob Albers about his film and his own Elderly Instruments experience.
