The Race for Ingham Prosecutor: Monica Stephens

Monica Stephens is vying for the Republican nomination for prosecutor in Ingham County.

Monica Stephens is a Republican candidate for Ingham County Prosecutor. The assistant Michigan Attorney General says she’d focus on crimes involving violence, sex and drugs. We talk with the former assistant Jackson county prosecutor.

In 11 days, voters will narrow a crowded field of candidates vying to become Ingham county’s next prosecutor. Current State has spoken to five of the six who want the job. Today, we speak to number six.

Monica Stephens is an Assistant state Attorney General who works on child protection cases. The Republican also served as an assistant prosecutor in Jackson county.
