Hertel Jr. talks housing and Senate

http://rd.ingham.org/

Ingham County officials have announced good news about the area’s housing market. Register of Deeds Curtis Hertel Jr. reported that home sales last year were up and that foreclosures were down. Hertel is also running for a seat in the state Senate.

Hertel says the housing numbers are recovering for the first time since he took office six years ago. Under 1,000 people lost their homes to foreclosure, and home sales rose 22% last year.
