The MSU football team topped the Iowa Hawkeyes, 16-13, at the Big Ten Championship game at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis on Saturday night.
The win propelled the Spartans into the College Football Playoff as a third seed, where they will play second-seeded Alabama in the Cotton Bowl Classic in Texas on New Year's Eve.
