Two more Mich. St. football players face charges

By AP

EAST LANSING, MI –

Two more Michigan State football players face misdemeanor assault and conspiracy charges connected to a Nov. 22 fight on campus.

Warrants were authorized Monday for defensive tackle Oren Wilson and receiver Myles White. The players are expected to turn themselves in for arraignment.

Eleven current or former Spartan players have been charged in the fight with members of a campus fraternity.

Michigan State coach Mark Dantonio said in a statement that Wilson and White have been indefinitely suspended from the football team.

The assault charge could bring up to 93 days in jail while the conspiracy charge is punishable by a maximum one-year sentence.
