Former MSU Football Safety Isaiah Lewis Weighs-In on Sexual Assault Charges

MSU Athletics

"Current Sports" reporter / intern Carina Garcia chats with former Michigan State University football player Isaiah Lewis about the sexual assault charges for former players Josh King, Donnie Corley, and Demetric Vance. Lewis elaborates on his relationship with the three players and addresses whether or not he feels as though Spartan head coach Mark Dantonio has handled the situation correctly.

Lewis was a four-year letterwinner for the MSU football program, leaving early to chase his dream of playing in the NFL. He was an undrafted free agent who was picked up by the Cincinnati Bengals in 2014. He was eventually cut from the 53-man roster for the Bengals and in 2015 was picked up by the Pittsburgh Steelers. His stint in Pittsburgh was cut short due to injury. Lewis now resides in his hometown of Indianapolis, Ind. working as an athletic trainer and he still has hopes of playing professional football.
