Lansing's new Medical Marijuana ordinance took effect in October and was briefly on hold while the city reviewed a petition drive to stop it.  People interested in operating a Medical Marijuana business must have one of the five different types of licenses going forward:

-Provisioning Center

-Safety Compliance Facility

-Processor Facility

-Secure Transporter

-Grower Facility

Licensees must complete applications, background check forms and other resources.
