Month in Review: Flint water and the AG, Detroit schools

WKAR File Photo

Current State’s Month in Review takes a look back at June’s top stories with Gongwer News’ John Lindstrom and MIRS News’ Kyle Melinn.  Topics include more Flint charges and rebuttals and the Detroit Public School’s financial package.

More charges stemming from the Flint water crisis were filed this month by Michigan Attorney General Bill Schuette. That and a costly plan to fund a relaunched Detroit Public School district topped Michigan news in June.

For Current State's Month in Review segment, we talk with Kyle Melinn, editor and Vice President of the Lansing-based MIRS newsletter, and John Lindstrom, Publisher of Gongwer News Service, Michigan.
