Freshman Quarterback Alex Hornibrook lead Wisconsin to a 30 to 6 thumping of Michigan State at Spartan Stadium on Saturday afternoon. Hornibrook threw for 195 yards and a touchdown, outplaying MSU senior Tyler O'Connor, who had three interceptions on the day. 

Hall of Fame Night for MSU and Okemos

On Thursday night both the MSU Athletics Hall of Fame and Okemos High School Hall of Fame ceremonies took place. In total, 19 individuals got the chance to see their names enshrined into sports lore. Names like Don Behm, Trevor Harris, Travis Bader, and even the late Mike Sadler are mentioned throughout this report.

The 10th annual Crosstown Showdown took place on Tuesday evening at Cooley Law School Stadium between the Lansing Lugnuts and the MSU baseball team. The meeting was a make-up due to poor weather back in the Spring.

Micajah Reynolds is a former MSU lineman who played under coach Mark Dantonio from 2009-2013. The Lansing Sexton product went on to help the Spartans win the 100th Rose Bowl Game, defeating No. 5 Stanford in 2013.

Spartans Vow to Sustain Success

The MSU football team is coming off a season that brought about a Big Ten Championship, as well as an appearance in the College Football Playoff. With a ton of turnover as the Spartans approach a new year, can they sustain that success in Mark Dantonio's 10th season as head coach?
