Farmers Market at the Capitol
Farmers Market at the Capitol
Hosted by the Michigan Farmers Market Association (MIFMA), the annual Farmers Markets at the Capitol provide a thriving marketplace that showcases Michigan food and agricultural products in an effort to educate consumers and our state decision-makers on the importance of supporting farmers, ag-based businesses, and farmers markets.
Vendors travel from all over the state of Michigan to attend the Farmers Market at the Capitol. Their products vary from fruits and vegetables to artisan cheeses, eggs, meat, sauces, baked goods, apples, cider, donuts, pies, mixes, spice rubs, jams, chocolates and caramels, soap, honey, beeswax products, popcorn and kettle corn, maple syrup, dog treats and cut flowers.
The markets accept SNAP Bridge Cards, Double Up Food Bucks, WIC Project FRESH, and Senior Project FRESH/Market FRESH.
