Happy Labor Day from "Current Sports with Al Martin," and here at WKAR, it's a labor of love. Al is live this Monday, as he couldn't in good conscience take the day off with college football in full swing. First on the show today, Michigan State is under the microscope. A 35-10 scoreline looks good to anyone, but will the play translate as the season moves ahead? Al analyzes that and presents his game standouts with engineer Isaac Constans. Going from quarterback Brian Lewerke to the nine freshmen who played on opening day, a full recap is available here. With the same depth, around the half-hour mark, University of Michigan takes center stage. Al and Isaac grade the team's performance in what seemed to be an overwhelming show of force against Florida. Both make some bold claims of praise, but there are still questions for the Maize and Blue, too. Finishing off the show, "Weekend Winners" is your passport around the rest of college football. Names like Saquon Barkley and Josh Rosen make the list.
