We're so back, baby. With this week's first edition of "Current Sports with Al Martin," coming on a Wednesday, there is much to chat about from a busy few days of sports. The Philadelphia Eagles won Super Bowl LII on Sunday, surviving the tests from Tom Brady, Bill Belichick, and the New England Patriots. Al and a variety of callers discuss everything from Nick Foles to Justin Timberlake, and recounts his weekend spent in Las Vegas. Current Sports production assistant Jon Simon joins the show to talk about the game, and engineer Ian Hawley shares his thoughts on some of the commercials from the big game. Michigan State Men's Basketball won another tight game Tuesday night, this time downing the Iowa Hawkeyes in Iowa City. They will face their toughest test of the season this Saturday against Purdue, and Al gives his prediction for the showdown in the Breslin Center.
