Michigan State University; Michigan State Basketball; Tom Izzo; Miles Bridges; Jud Heatcote; Kevin Lavery; Penn State Scandal

Michigan State survived a nail-biter against those pesky Pudue Boilermakers. On this edition of "Current Sports with Al Martin," Al discusses the Spartan's win over Purdue, as well as the women's basketball team's victory against Michigan. Callers give their thoughts on the games, as well as the new poll rankings released Monday. Michigan State is ranked No. 2 behind Virginia, despite the Cavaliers' loss against Virginia Tech this week. Also, our own Kevin Lavery has a conversation with Frank Fitzpatrick of the Philadelphia Inquirer about the scandal that Penn State football faced when it was discovered that Jerry Sandusky was assaulting boys at football camps. Are there parallels between Penn State and the current happenings at MSU? That, and more!
