We recap the big weekend in the college football playoff, as Ohio State and Alabama proved victorious. Also, we discuss the first Big Ten win for the MSU men's basketball team. 

On today's Current Sports with Al Martin, we kick-off the New Year by recapping the weekend in college football. The playoff revealed Ohio State and Alabama as the final two teams who will be competing for a national championship. How did it happen? Also, Al gives thoughts on the first win of the Big Ten year for the Michigan State men's basketball team over Nebraska. Aaron Henry proved to be the man for the Spartans, but can he keep it up?
