SIDS Rate Remains High Among Native Americans

Though incidence of Sudden Infant Death Syndrome has fallen by more than half in the general population, the SIDS rate remains high for Native Americans. A Journal of the American Medical Association article cites overlayering babies in the winter and alcohol use by pregnant women as reasons for the disparity. NPR's Vicky Que reports.
