Syria's Lebanon Plan Brings Praise, Protests

Syrian President Bashar al Assad's vow to pull his troops back to the border with Lebanon energizes many Lebanese and angers others.

Many Christians have joined other Lebanese in demanding a full and speedy pullout. But Hezbollah, a mainly Shiite Muslim militia backed by Syria, is planning a rally Tuesday to urge the Syrians to stay.
