Michigan State University; John Engler; Jack Stripling; Deshaun Tate; Jaren Jackson, Jr.; 2018 NBA Draft; Reflection Friday

John Engler keeps making headlines, but not the kind Michigan State University wants. On this episode of "Current Sports with Al Martin," Al highlights some of the emails released this week through a Freedom of Information Act request. In one of the messages, Engler said he thought Rachael Denhollander would be receiving a "kickback" from her lawyer for stirring up controversy. WKAR's Scott Pohl and Karel Vega share their reports on the issue, including Vega's interview with Jack Stripling, the Chronicle of Higher Education reporter who broke the story. Later in the show, Al talks with Deshaun Tate, college basketball reporter for CBS Atlanta. Tate interviewed MSU's Jaren Jackson Jr. after his workout with the Atlanta Hawks, and he shares his thoughts on Jackson, Miles Bridges, and other prospects leading up to the 2018 NBA Draft.
