You'll hear the remarkable docent (and fellow former Chicagoan) Garry McKeen with moving and personal stories of the all-volunteer submariners who served aboard the Silversides beginning just eight days after the attack on Pearl Harbor. The Silversides went on to become one of the most distinguished U.S. fighting vessels of World War II, and was sometimes called "the luckiest boat
