WKAR Classical Now on HD Radio

There's a new way to listen to WKAR Classical, the online stream featuring classical music 24/7.

WKAR Classical is now available on WKAR HD2, on HD radios at 90.5-2.

WKAR Classical features classical music 24/7. Highlights include Mark Schwitzgoebel and Jody Knol hosting from Michigan State University on weekday afternoons; guests from the mid-Michigan classical music scene; 90.5 Community Concerts, featuring performances captured in mid-Michigan; and What's New on WKAR, featuring new classical releases hosted by Peter Whorf.

WKAR Classical launched as an online-only service in January 2009, and can be heard online at WKAR.org/listen, along with WKAR Jazz, WKAR Folk Alley, and WKAR News/Talk.

With federal funding eliminated, WKAR relies more than ever on community support to sustain essential services that remain freely available to everyone in mid-Michigan. Your support helps shape what comes next for public media in our region. The best way to support WKAR is by becoming a sustaining member today or by upgrading your current gift.
