Kick off the 16th Annual Expo with the 2026 Family “Fun Run," a fun, environmentally immersive 1-mile adventure hike for youth and families! This experience combines physical activity, environmental stewardship, and lots of engagement—equipping families to thrive while having fun.
(Hint: it’s more of a hike than a run!)

The East Lansing Backpack Giveaway is happening August 12th from 1–3pm at TechSmith HQ, 14 Crescent Road, East Lansing. This FREE event is organized by TechSmith and CIS of Michigan. Join us for a movement storytime featuring yoga style poses and breathing exercises! We'll read a story, try out traditional and nontraditional yoga poses, breathe deep, and groove to a song. Feel bring to bring your own yoga mat or beach towel to sit on. We'll be outdoors, if weather permits. After the storytime, we'll have time for free play with outdoor toys.
