Sam Gringlas
Sam Gringlas is an NPR Congressional Reporter.
He returned to NPR in 2025 after four years at NPR member station WABE in Atlanta where he reported on Georgia politics, including the 2022 and 2024 elections, the Georgia election interference case against President Donald Trump and the funeral of former President Jimmy Carter.
Gringlas was previously a producer for NPR's All Things Considered, contributing to coverage of politics, immigration, the pandemic, impeachments and news from across the country and abroad. He also helped cover the 2020 election with NPR's Washington Desk.
Originally from Michigan, Gringlas earned a degree in public policy from the University of Michigan.
