Online, on the radio and on television, WKAR has you covered for the Michigan Midterm Elections.
Once the polls close, click on WKAR.org. You will be able to see results from the Governors and Senate races as well as propositions as they come in. We'll share some of those results on the WKAR News Twitter and Facebook pages.
You can also listen to FM 105.1 WKAR NewsTalk. Starting at 8:00 p.m., we will have live coverage from NPR and updates every hour anchored by WKAR All Things Considered host Karel Vega. Plus reports from the statewide Republican watch party in Lansing and Democratic watch party in Detroit.
We will also be interviewing two guests about younger voters. Adam Green of MSU's James Madison College Conservatives and Jenna Chapman of NexGen Rising will be our in-studio guests. Their interviews will be exclusively on the WKAR News Facebook page during live reports at 8:15 and 9:15 p.m.
If you prefer television - PBS NewsHour will have live coverage on WKAR-TV 23 starting at 8:00 p.m. Political reporter Lisa Dejardins says she will focus on states where voting trends are shifting.
“What areas of the country voted a certain way in 2016? And have changed their mind now… are they moving more Conservative or are they moving away from the President and where and why?," said Dejardins.
