In our news wrap Monday, a major winter storm is piling up snow in the mountains of Northern California and hitting much of the rest of the state with heavy rain, trial began for a Georgia man whose teenage son allegedly killed four people in a school shooting in 2024 and Ukrainian and Russian officials are gathering in Geneva for the latest U.S.-brokered talks aimed at ending the war.
