MI Senate approves teacher tenure reform

By Laura Weber, Michigan Public Radio Network

LANSING, MI –
The state Senate has approved a teacher tenure reform plan that would make it easier for school districts to fire teachers who don't produce adequate test scores from their students. The House is expected to vote on the issue Thursday which will most likely be the final day of this year's legislative session.
