Following Tuesday's primary election, two candidates vying to represent the city of Jackson's Ward 3 will advance to the general election this November.

Millages for several departments in Mid-Michigan will be up as part of elections that will be held on August 5 and The City of Lansing will also be holding a primary on the same day.
