On today's Current Sports with Al Martin Segment of the Day, we discuss the death of 28-year-old boxer Maxim Dadashev, who collapsed as he was leaving the ring after his 11 round defeat to Subriel Matias this past weekend. He was taken to the University of Maryland Prince George's Hospital Center in Cheverly for bain surgery. On Tuesday he died from his injuries.

Listen to the Celebration of Life for WKAR broadcasting legend Earle Robinson. The event took place on Saturday at Reno's East in East Lansing, MI, featuring almost 30 speakers who shared in remembrance of Robinson. Some of the featured guests included legendary MSU track and field coach Jim Bibbs, former MSU basketball great Mike Robinson, and even MSU / NBA basketball icon Earvin "Magic" Johnson. The event was emceed by Current Sports host Al Martin and local sportscaster Jack Ebling.
