Rep. Andy Schor is in his first term representing Michigan’s 68th House District. The Lansing Democrat recently introduced two bills involving schooling in the state.Schor says a balanced school calendar throughout the year faces the challenge of summer classes in buildings that don't have air conditioning. His bill would allow for a pilot program to help some districts pay for climate control conversions.
