Border Patrol union chief defends immigration crackdown

Season 2026 Episode 44 | 12m 09s

President Trump's defense of his immigration agenda during his State of the Union address comes as public support is falling. In an NBC News poll this month, 49% of people said they strongly disapprove of how Trump has handled border security and immigration, a 15-point jump since last April. Amna Nawaz discussed more with National Border Patrol Council President Paul Perez.
